Food to recommend

So long time since i last blog on 1st Oct. Feeling gulity!!!!

I am now sharing my good food experience that i had been eating lately either with my good friends or alone.

Food is a pleasure that you will scrumb down to your cravings. Not so long ago, i went with my parent to the temporary market at China Town when Hong Lim Hawker centre was under renovation.

We met 2 old couples who seem enjoying the food. They said that they were very faithful to the same stalls in Hong LIm Hawker Centre and even went to the temporary market to eat the same foods.

They recommended one stall that sell marvellous Hong Kong style fish. Another stall to recommend is their famous claypot rice. The old couples said that they are really happy eating these food. It surprised me alot that in their golden age, they find small pleasure in food.

I had tried the steamed fish from other stall at temporary market at china town. It is at the junction of the road opposite SGH.

Sorry people, i ate half of this fish head. Big fleshy fresh fish head steamed in yellow bean paste. Yummy

Another good food to eat is at Big O cafe at Wheelock place.

This is roasted duck on the top of whipped potato and vegetables. It tastes excellent with the spices. When you first bite the duck, it is very tender and juicy. Excellent...

Guess where is this stall? Those who had patronised it, would definitely say that it is best tau kwa pau. It is found in Katong where there are alot of Perankan Food restuarants. But i found this stall hidden away in old coffee shop. Newspapers cutting rate this best and it made me curious to try this stall out.

Hey, dont be pissed off by this picture but you can see the generous topping on the tau kwa pau. The toppings consists of fish cake bits, scrambled hard boiled eggs and crispy beancurd bits. When you bite the tau kwa pau, you will find its soft juicy tofu while its outer is crispy. It goes well with indian chilli that are often served in indian rojak.

I give it thumbs up and you will find yourself craving more for it!!!

Ice lemon tea is also a great drink made by the indian man. It served in large mug that you will find it so delicious to sip greedily!!!

This picture showed of this famous tau kwa pau with a big mug of ice lemon tea.

I had it few times because i had this craving for this dish.
I will blog for more 'gourmet" food after trying for more food in Singapore.......Yumdeliciously!!!!!
